If you are a past visitor of this website, you might be wondering why this layout looks familiar, again. That's because it is a second-reincarnation of the original Butterfly layout featured here.

As some of you can guess, the inspiration for this layout is the DDR song Butterfly by Smile.DK. Now, I don't play DDR, nor do I really know anything about it. I found this song by accident. I had a friend who downloaded this song by accident, and in the summer following my senior year ('02) I spent a lot of time at her house. From poking around her computer I discovered this song and took it home. I fell in love with the song and one night I made the original version of this layout while listening to it... That's where it get's it title from. If you have the song and listen to it, you'll notice that the roll-over animation goes with the beat of the song. I didn't do that on purpose!

My friend is no longer with me; no, she didn't die. Let's just say that she lives in a world outside of civilians. She got accused of a crime, and has been put in prison for life. I don't know if she committed or not, and when I look at this layout while listening the song... I don't care. I just want to think back to the times I had my friend to visit. She was the first girl I truly trusted to confide in about my sexuality. I remember going to a Southern Baptist Church camp and listening to the guest pastor talk about how all homosexuals were going to burn in hell; she held my hand under her sweater she placed in her lap.

This layout is a happy layout full of some sad nostalgia. I dedicate this to my friend because I miss her so much.
